New Business Assistance with NEIS provides small business training, assistance in developing a business plan and 12 months of business mentoring and support to help you get your business up and running.

How can New Business Assistance with NEIS help?

Generally, anyone who can work in their business full-time and is not in employment, education or training can participate in NEIS.

New Business Assistance with NEIS can help by providing:

  • accredited small business training
  • personalised mentoring and support from a NEIS provider in the first year of the new business to help the individual put their business idea into practice
  • NEIS Allowance for up to 39 weeks and NEIS Rental Assistance for up to 26 weeks (if eligible)
